day 13
today we did inventory and then we went to dry falls to see the canyon were the water use to be

day 11
we drove to cole vill we blogged in the morning and took showers and played basket ball then we got to go to stone rose fossils so that we could go dig for fossils the n we went strait to nespelem to the colvill indian reservation to the comunity center we went to go eat pizza and then we went to go to the laser light show on the grand coulee damn
7/23/13
day 9
we got up at 7 am and we got to do painting at winexes and i got to do a hand shirt with the painting then we got to see how the first foods were prepared and she talked about how important they are to the umitila then we got on the road to go to spokane and the spokane tribe gave us a free dinner at the arby's and one of the teachers left the keys in the car so we were late from leaving from arbys  , they led us to the fair grounds in wellpinit

day 12    rick desautel
today we woke up at 730 we had to wake up early because we ahd an elder come and talk to us named Barbra aripa she talked about the land and how we can protect it  she talked about the streams and the animals and then at  then at about ten rick desautel came and escorted us to a fishery that was on the Columbia  we got to take a boat to the fish hatchery place so we can see the fish and how big they get . then we got to go to the community center it was really nice we got to play basket ball then at around 7 we got to go up to the mountains and howl at wolfs it was fun then we got back at 11 and went to sleep

7/22/13
day 8
    we went to the umitila government building we met a nice lady named wenix she was showing us a construction site were they were fixing the stream so the fish have a better place to spawn and to live we  got some of the background knowledge about the river and what was wrong with it and how the temperature effected the fish and how they spawn on our way to the construction  site the band wagon and the flaming eagle got a flat tire the flaming eagle van got two flats and the war pony got two flats too so it was five flat tires in one day the war pony had to wait because we couldn't move the tires were to bad so we had to wait for the other vehicles to go get our tires so we could get out of there we had a spare but the other tire was totally destroyed so we couldn't go anywhere we ended up waiting for like three hours  we then got people who worked on tires and they fixed up the tire so that we could go they followed us so that we could make it out okay and not get stuck again . we then went to winexes house and they had dinner ready for us so we had Indian tacos  we played volley ball and  stayed up and learned how to play stick games it was really fun  , we got to see how they make glass plates and bowls and it was really cool all of the glass that they used .we got to play volley ball and dance it was all good

7/24/13
day ten 
we got up at like 7 ish in the morning we got some guest speakers and we got a good feel of what they do and how their job is done we then went to the stream and we ate lunch and swam alittle  then we got to shock fish and we went up stream we had people with nets and they caught the fish that got knocked out by the electric shock 
we then went to the campsite and waited got some free time and we got to go swimming  when we went swimming we went swimming at Roosevelt lake and me and a group of other kids swam all the way across and when we got there we seen that other people signed there name there and so we all put our name on the wall  the ground was really sandy and we found some clay it was a really fun experience

Day 7
Today we woke up at 6 ish and we went to the fishery were they showed us how they tag the fishes and release them back int the stream or take them to a spawning area
7/19/13
Day 5 
Today we got up and met with joe Elkins and Jason fisher they were trails program and recreational development we worked on the blue lagoon trail which is about a mile long we had to cut trees and make the trail larger so that people can walk through better  we made the trail about 5 feet wide this will help the trail in the future because it will prevent overgrowth and it will provide other nutrient cue to the other trees that were trying to grow . We went swimming in the blue lagoon for about  an hour  and ate lunch we prepared our own lunch ,A group of people that I was Involved with went to the camp sites where people built there own fire pits and we took the frames out and made it look like there was never a fire there .
7/20/13
Day 6
Today we drove eleven hours stopped at the painted hills and looked at the rocks and how they are formed we learned some fun facts about the terrain and we also ate lunch then we made it to the powwow we got here about 930pm we set up tents in a small area here and we got to walk around the powwow for about a hour and we had to go to bed at 11 pm

7/18/13
day 4
 we got up around 7 am ish and ate eggs, cereal, and hot chocolate . we then went to the lava river cave it is home of bats and it is very high it was formed when the laca flowed out of the volcano and as it flowed down the lava on the top hardened first and it =lets the lava underneath keep going and iit kept going to form a cave  the cave stays about 40 degrees all the time we went in about half a mile , after wards we went to the look out were we spoke with the anthropologist and fire manager and the fire spotter they talked about  how the land burned naturally and what they do when there is a fire and how they spot a fire from a watch tower , we then went to lunch and the us forestry people prepared a bar b q for us and we had hamburgers and hot dogs dechutes river where we seen the river and the falls we followed a path and got to learn a lot about the area.

7/17/13
day three ,we woke up at the crack of dawn earlier than day two we went to the horse stables and I got to ride Starbucks he was a really good horse and it was my first time riding and it was fun we went on a trail that was about a mile long  I got multiple pictures and afterward we went to the park and worked on our scientific method. we went ot the museum we had a term inside and outside and then we had lunch it was pulled pork it was amazing  we then went to the nearest mc donalds and used there wifi so that we could blog , after the people in the car that i rode in (called the war pony ) were done blogging we were heading to the camp site and on the high way we busted a tire and we had to change it  we changed it in under 30 minutes after changing it our fellow campers came and they had bought us mc donalds and we got to the campsite and set up camp it was one of our campers birthday she is now 16 we had cake and ice cream .

7/16/13

day two , we woke up at 7 am and we ate cereal and we left the long house at about nine and went to warm springs fisheries to meet up with Austin smith and Jason grant  Austin smith is a wild life technician and Jason grant is a on rez fish biologist we got to go to a river where they had it restored and since then they got a new type of fish there they got Coho which is native to the stream originally  they completed the project in 2009 ,  afterward we went back to the long house and I went swimming we went swimming in the river and we were being fish and tried to swim upstream and we found how hard it is to b e a salmon afterwards we went back to the long house we made rope it was a exiting experience taut by cialita and ate chili dogs played a game that was called wolf it came from a fellow camper it was so fun .
the first day , we were getting our schedules and we got our blog ready  we stayed at the heritage and talked to Paul ward and Steve ridgon about what they did like research and the skills that they needed until about 10 am we stopped at Goldendale and them Celilo  overlook were se seen were they constructed the dam it kind of flooded the Celilo ., we also went to a  river were we saw petroglyphs  we hiked and looked and seen markings that have been there for over ten thousand years old at horse thief park and ate lunch after looking at the petroglyphs and journeyed through deserts lands for two hours dying to get to warm springs when we got to warm springs we went to the longhouse and ate spaghetti
